- Hello Dr Englehart and Class,I would think that a hospital would fall under a flatter organizational structure because, you have the CEO and then the COO and so on and multiple directors and managers which have the individual departments. Then their is the managerial staff for those departments. Hospital seem to be run like a corporation when it comes to the business side of things but then with the clinical you have the CNO and Medical Directors that still have to report to the CEO. Very interesting.
Students response 2.Dr. Englehart,In the video, the power of posture by Amy Cuddy was fascinating to listen to and how she elaborates on those individuals who adopted power postures. Some were either standing or sitting, but they all present or show an outward sense of power and are psychologically positive. And the opposite is exact with individuals demonstrating the low power poses by hunching over or crossing their arms over their body to avoid any movements. I noticed the video showed adults as the lab participants; were there studied on children or teens? And the data outcome of that, if any?–Nga
