My questions on Unit 1-4 assignments, questions on overarching Unit 5 Individual Project and my thoughts on how to approach the IP assignment are as follows:

First of all my question is can this get any better? I am a returning student to AIU and posting to the discussion board is a deliverable that I’ve become accustomed to doing. I think it’s great to have the opportunity to read and discuss assignments with your classmates in a pleasant manner and not to mention, someone at times may get a little confused on what the assignment is asking and with this open forum it helps on knowing exactly where to start. Brings me back to this old saying, “Great minds do think alike.”

Questions on Unit 5 overarching in overshadowing the individual project is at a very minimum because having to write papers after papers after papers made be somewhat of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) because I had to have all of the details on point and was graded hard on the small stuff other than the research materials. I understand the importance of the delivery and the citations; however, is it possible to add citations if the originality verification score is over required amount?

My approach on writing Unit 5’s brief article will be with careful research, thinking on CEOs and Presidents will require some research and I’m sure the two compared leadership styles will have many similarities or maybe not and therefore, I can’t wait to report my observations. I will also make sure my citations are where they need to be for the sake of the originality verification checker and just making sure I understand my own writing through brainstorming. You can write all day but you first need to understand the material that you write in order to deliver crisp clear material to the reader.

You brought up an excellent question about the originality verification score checker. I have had that type of run in prior on an assignment because I cited quite a lot of information to properly support my assignment. However, the amount that I cited went overboard and it did not appear that I was understanding what I was sharing, rather it seemed as though I was just copying and pasting information to contribute in my assignment. But I made it clear that I did understand the assignment and I understood all of the material I was sharing throughout my work, I ultimately learned to write it in my own words in the end. If this question is still something you are worried about, feel free to contact the instructor. I am certain you do not want anyone to think you are just using the copy+paste button and trying to get off easily. You definitely want it to be known that you are fully aware and know your facts.
